Malaysian Border

Malaysian border
Are there any Border pass for malaysian Citizen to Thailand? If so how much does it cost?

Border Pass (Malaysia -Thailand)
This document is issued to citizens of Malaysia (and citizens of Thailand who hold a red Malaysian Identity Card) of the states of Kelantan, Perlis, Kedah and Perak for not less than three years. According to standing agreement, border pass is made valid to travel by land within 25 km from the border. Children who are below the age of 15 years are not allowed to apply for border pass individually. They can be included in their father’s or mother’s border pass. The validity of the border pass is three months from date of issue and can be used for multiple journeys.

http://www.mgcsf.org/malaysia.htm

Thus legally you must be within the 25 Km . However practically every Malaysian bus driver i know that drives between Hatyai and Kuala Lumpur uses the border pass as i have seen all their stamps ! So it is probably tolerated to use the border pass right up to Hatyai . Just dont take it to Bangkok as the police there would have NEVER even seen one before

You can actually ask the bus counter / driver if you have doubts :)

To apply see this link – cost RM 10 only

High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles The 2000 Malaysian Grand Prix was a Formula One motor race held at Sepang on October 22, 2000. It was the final race of the 2000 Formula One season. At the start in a very hot and humid race, Michael Schumacher was again beaten away by Mika Hakkinen as at the previous race, however later it was proved that Hakkinen had moved before the lights went out. At the first corner there were problems when Nick Heidfeld, Pedro Diniz and Pedro de la Rosa collided putting all three out on the spot, with debris on the track the safety car was deployed, with Hakkinen out in front. However soon after the safety car came in, Hakkinen was given a stop and go penalty leaving his team mate David Coulthard out in the lead. Hakkinen would in the end fight back up to 4th place. Coulthard had to pit earlier than planned due to running off track and collecting dirt in the radiators. This left Michael Schumacher out in front, with Coulthard now second ahead of the flu ridden Barrichello in third place. Childrens Literature in Malaysian Primary Schools

Childrens Literature in Malaysian Primary Schools

$181.62

The Contemporary Childrens Literature Program (CCL) was introduced into English classes in Malaysian primary schools in 2003 with the aim of improving English language teaching through the introduction of storybooks or childrens literature. A study was done to examine issues in the implementation of the CCL program in three primary schools in the city of Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia. Findings revealed that the various stakeholders had positive views about the program. However, there were reservations about the extent and speed in which the program was being implemented. Apart from that, problems were also identified with the cascade model of training used to prepare teachers for the implementation of the program. Issues regarding program monitoring, the absence of studentcentred learning, and limited number of books and delays in the deliverance of books created management problems for the schools. Nevertheless, this is characteristic of new programmes which have yet to be fully developed and the main benefit of introducing childrens literature in ESL classrooms will definitely outweigh all these initial shortcomings. Development of Nomogram for Malaysian Pregnant Women

Development of Nomogram for Malaysian Pregnant Women

$159.32

In this study, nomograms were developed for Malaysian pregnant women. The ANC (except Hb) and ultrasound (except AFI) parameters were grossly increased throughout the pregnancies. Greater growth rate of BPD, HC, AC and FL for second trimester were noticed compared to third trimester but opposite result was found for EFW. Decrease of AFI values is seen after 28 weeks of GA towards term. Diseases such as diabetes mellitus and heart disease were noticed to have significant impact on ANC and ultrasound parameters during pregnancy. Comparisons of ultrasound parameters in this Malaysia population with various countries show more significant difference results (106 studies; 68.83) except for CRL. This suggests that every population should use their own ultrasound biometry assessment except in the first trimester. Findings from this study will help the medical practitioner in this country to predict the outcome of pregnancy earlier thus improving the foetus and mother health during pregnancy. The dialect is almost the same as Singaporean Hokkien as well as Riau Hokkien, and is closely related to Amoy and Taiwanese. However, it is quite distinct from Penang Hokkien and Medan Hokkien. It is almost 100 mutually intelligible between a Singaporean Hokkien speaker and a Southern Malaysia Hokkien speaker. Between Frontiers

Between Frontiers

$30.11

A staple of postwar academic writing, nationalism is a contentious and often unanalyzed abstraction. It is generally treated as something imagined, fashioned, and disseminated, as an idea located in the mind, in printed matter, on maps, in symbols such as flags and anthems, and in collective memory. Between Frontiers restores the nation to the social field from which it has been abstracted by looking at how the concept shapes the existence of people in border zones, where they live between nations. Noboru Ishikawa grounds his discussion of border zones in materials gathered during two years of archival research and fieldwork relating to the boundary that separates Malaysian from Indonesian territory in western Borneo. Scholars across the humanities and social sciences will learn from this masterful linking of history and ethnography, and of macro and micro perspectives.
